The Organic Produce Summit (OPS) organization promotes business and trade relationships within its industry. Toward this end, it recently established an Ambassador Committee to elevate the event and lead the drive to implement its goals. The new committee is chaired by eminently qualified Natalie J. Machado, FreshSource’s National Director of Marketing. Her specific goals as Chairman are to expand both the visibility of the OPS and the availability of its resources to grocery retailers. She wants the committee to create opportunities for industry professionals to get involved directly, to connect, and to be able to stay abreast of the rapidly changing landscape for organic produce. Matt Seeley, CEO of OPS, recognizes the passion Natalie brings as committee Chairman to keeping the program vibrant and responsive and to the achievement of OPS’s current and longer-term goals.
